About Events	English (USA)
This list enables members to announce or organise events to each other that may be of interest to classic Austin car owners. Some examples of the type of events to announce. 1. AUSTIN THEMED EVENT OR SHOW. Usually organised by an owners/drivers club. 2. GENERAL CLASSIC CAR EVENT. For example a classics rally or autojumble that is not necesarily directly Austin related but is likley to apeal to classic car enthusiasts. 3. HISTORIC THEMED EVENT. Often there are events that have a theme for a particular era, for example 1940's wartime re-enactment. Often classic car owners are interested in the era that their car was made, especially if there will be other cars from that era, they may brig their car along. 4. PUBLIC SHOW. Are you having a village show, or other show that might benifit from having a few classic cars on show ? Many owners are keen to take their cars out for a day out and sheare their enthusiasam with others. Please remember though that allthough people don't usually expect to be paid to show thair cars it is considered common courtesy not to expect them to pay to enter your show if they are helping out by showing their car. If it is a long event a light lunch and a cup of tea on offer is more likley to get a good showing at your event. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Events Archives.
Using Events
To post a message to all the list members, send email to events@austinclassics.co.uk. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Events
Subscribe to Events by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
